Neste sentido optamos por não oferecer gift bags aos participantes, o que nos permitiu reduzir o custo dos bilhetes e desenvolver junto dos nossos parceiros um merchandising de qualidade que valorize os produtos e seus criadores, bem como incentivar um consumo mais consciente.

TEDxPeniche's second edition means to be even more sustainable than the first one. For that matter, we won't offer gift bags to the participants, which gave us the chance to reduce the tickets price and, along side with our partners, improve the quality of the event's merchandising, hoping to promote creators and their best work, as well as appeal to a more conscious kind of consumption.

Lohuba surgiu no início de 2018 como um projeto entre dois irmãos para produzir impressões através da técnica de serigrafia e como forma de manter viva a veia artística que os segue desde muito novos. Sempre ligados ao oceano, especificamente ao Surf, foi com naturalidade que perceberam que todo este processo teria que ser o mais amigo do ambiente possível. Como tal, comprometeram-se a reduzir a sua "pegada" e adoptaram, desde o início, a utilização única e exclusiva de tintas ecológicas à base de água nas suas impressões, conjuntamente com o processo manual de trabalho. Aliado a isso, comprometeram-se a tornar esta sua escolha, uma escolha de todos os seus clientes em verem os seus designs impressos em artigos produzidos em algodão orgânico ou materiais sintéticos reciclados, certificados, sustentáveis e obtidos através de comércio justo.

Lohuba was born in the beginning of 2018 as a project between two brothers to produce prints through the screen printing technic and as a way to keep alive the artistic "vein" that accompanies them from an early age.
Always connected with the ocean, it was natural for them to understand that the process of screen printing should be as eco-friendly as possible. That said, they compromised themselves to reduce their "footprint" and adopted, since the beginning, the use of inks exclusively water-based and ecological in their prints, along with the manual process of printing. Also, they try to make sure that their choice is the choice of their clients in seeing their designs printed in organic cotton and/or recycled synthetics, certified and sustainably obtained through fair trade.
